All Handmade by Addie pieces are individually crafted by hand and with care. Each piece is designed to last, however it needs to be taken care of to stay looking its best. 

All jewelry is made with 12k antique gold or 14k gold-plated materials 

For 12k Antique Gold:

Avoid moisture and chemicals:
Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, or applying lotions, perfumes, hairspray, oils, and other beauty products. Moisture and chemicals can cause plating to fade or tarnish over time.

Clean gently:
After wearing, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils or residue. Avoid jewelry cleaners, harsh soaps, or polishing cloths that may be too abrasive for plated pieces.

Store carefully:
Store jewelry in a dry place, preferably in a pouch, jewelry box, or sealed bag. Keeping pieces separate helps prevent scratching, tangling, and unnecessary wear.

Wear with care:
Gold-plated pieces should be handled gently. Avoid pulling, bending, or wearing your jewelry during activities where it may get caught, stretched, or damaged.

For 14k Gold-plated:

Water-friendly with care:
Gold-filled pieces can handle water better than plated jewelry, but it is still best to avoid long exposure to pools, oceans, hot tubs, and heavy sweat.
Avoid chemicals:
Limit contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreen, hairspray, chlorine, and cleaning products, as these can affect the finish over time.
Clean gently:
Use mild soap, warm water, and a soft cloth when needed. Always dry completely after cleaning.
Store carefully:
Keep in a dry pouch, jewelry box, or sealed bag when not wearing to help prevent scratches and tangling.

WARRANTY & REPAIRS

All Handmade by Addie jewelry comes with a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers manufacturing issues such as:

  • Loose charms
  • Faulty clasps
  • Broken jump rings or attachment issues

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Tarnishing or fading from wear
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Accidental damage, improper care, exposure to chemicals

Everyone’s skin and daily routine are different. Body oils, pH levels, lotions, perfumes, and how often a piece is worn can affect how jewelry reacts over time. Because of this, tarnishing, fading, or discoloration due to individual wear or skin chemistry is not considered a product defect.

With proper care, your jewelry will remain as perfect as the day purchased, ready to be worn, loved, and shown off!!
